GOODWORTH Clatford A maintained their lead at the top of Basingstoke and District Tennis League Ladies’ Division One after a 7-1 win against Overton A.
Andover A look in good form after a 7-1 win against Old Basing A and a 5-3 win at champions Beechdown A.
Aldermaston A kicked off their campaign with wins against Oakley, 5-3, and Old Basing A, 6-2, with Jill Vaughan/Keren Bailey being unbeaten in the Old Basing match.
Aldermaston B continued their unbeaten run in Division Two with a 6-2 win against Winchester.
RSF moved up to second place after a 6-2 win at Sherborne and a draw with Preston Candover.
The Preston Candover team made it three draws from their first four matches against Mortimer, who had Helen Townsend/ Jo Jones to thank for their point. Winchester drew with Odiham.
Andover B secured an 8-0 win against Hampshire Court A, but then went down 5-3 to the Hampshire Court B team, who remain unbeaten.
A Chris Fowler/Chris Tudor maximum gave Old Basing B a 7-1 win at Totally Tennis B.
