SHIN Gi Tai Martial Arts Academy and The Pink Place came together to run a Combat Cancer class, which raised £1,301 for the Pink Place, a Basingstoke-based charity.

Bryan Andrews, owner of the academy, said: “The charity provides free of charge therapies and services to people with breast cancer.

“It’s a great cause that is close to our hearts as one of our coaches is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.”

The idea of the evening was to take part in a body combat class, have some fun and to raise lots of money.

The theme for the evening was to wear a decorated bra while working out.
