TEST Valley Golf Club professional Claire Duffy remains second on the WPGA order of merit after maintaining her excellent record at One Day Series events.

Duffy travelled to Chestfield Golf Club, in Kent, for the third event of the season, having finished first and ninth at the previous two tournaments.

Birdies at holes five and seven had the Test Valley pro one-under-par at the turn, but three bogeys on the back nine saw her card a two-over-par round of 73 to finish in a tie for third, two shots behind the joint winners.

The result saw Duffy hold on to second place in the order of merit ahead of the next event, which takes place at Kedleston Park, Derbyshire, on June 23.

Old Basing professional Andrew Cloke tasted victory on the Hampshire PGA tour last month, winning the Cams Hall Golf Club Pro-Am.

The 32-year-old shot a four-under-par round of 67 to beat James Ablett (Lee-on-the-Solent) by one shot and move up to fourth on the order of merit.
