BASINGSTOKE Town Ladies came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw from their home game against visiting Andover New Street last Sunday.

Josette Pearmine and Sian Wylie both had first-half efforts saved but the game remained goal-less at the break.

Bottom side Andover went ahead on 54 minutes, Michelle Kimber putting the ball past her own ’keeper.

Lindsey Beverley levelled the scores less than 10 minutes later after being put through by Pearmine and, while Sam Mosley, Katie Randell and Pearmine all went close late on, Town had to settle for a point.

The ladies have just one game of their league campaign remaining, a trip to table-topping Woodley United on May 25.
