JODIE Attrill scored four times as Basingstoke Bison Ladies enjoyed a 9-1 home victory over the Oxford Midnight Stars.

The Herd’s forward took just 44 seconds to open the scoring, assisted by Christy Baker.

The same player doubled the advantage in the 10th minute and Julia Burns made it 3-0, finishing a move involving Attrill and Dee West.

The first period scoring was completed by an unassisted strike from Jodie Milsom.

The second session saw Attrill make it 5-0 with her hat-trick strike and then Leah Trueman scored shorthanded as Baker sat out a tripping penalty.

Attrill, with her fourth of the game, took the score to 7-0 at the second buzzer.

Oxford broke Karen Probin’s shut-out at 41:27, before the home side netted their eighth of the contest as Geraldine Pink converted a pass from Tanya Bone.

Bone then wrapped up the scoring, with Kay Carrington-Fisher and Milsom getting the assists.

The Bison Ladies complete their season with a home game against Bracknell Fire Bees on Sunday (face-off 6.30pm).

l The under-12 Bison lost their final game of the season as they went down 10-1 to champions Guildford.

Leading scorer William Birch scored their only goal, assisted by Samuel Stephens.

The under-16 Bison finished their campaign with a 3-1 loss against visiting Swindon.

The home side opened the scoring as Connor Mears netted from Josh Richards and Steven Radcliff.
