Basingstoke athletes enjoy success at Hampshire championships

MEMBERS of Basingstoke and Mid Hants AC impressed at the Hampshire Multi-Events Championships, which took place in Portsmouth last weekend.

Tobin Hatton-Brown won the under-20 men’s event, with club-mate Stuart Parker in second place, while Malachi Gair was the winner of the under-15 boys event.

There was more success on the girls’ side, with Gemma Finch winning the under-20 event and Devon Brimecome claiming gold in the under-17 competition.

Third place finishes went to Geoff Butler (senior men), Maria Henry (senior women), Hannah Haugvik (under-15 girls) and Molly Wateridge (under-13 girls).
