BASINGSTOKE golfer Stuart Archibald endured a frustrating trip north of the border for the Eagle Orchid Scottish Masters.
The EuroPro Tour event, held at Montrose Golf Club last week, was blighted by fog, with almost two days’ play lost to low cloud.
To make matters worse, Archibald then injured his wrist playing out from wet rough and had to withdraw before the end of the first round.
The Worting man is due to return to action at The Dawson and Sanderson Travel Classic at Longhirst Hall, in Northumberland, later this month, assuming that his wrist has recovered.
