FORMER Basingstoke Town midfielder Sergio Torres recently returned to the Camrose to sign copies of his autobiography.
The Argentinean made his name at Basingstoke before going on to play for Wycombe, Peterborough United and Crawley Town in the Football League.
He returned to sign copies of his book, The Sergio Torres Story, before appearing as a special guest at a Sportsman’s Dinner in the clubhouse, hosted by former Premier League star Micky Quinn.
Simon Hood, head of marketing at Basingstoke Town, said: “It was great to have Sergio back here on his old stomping ground. Everyone connected to the club was thrilled to see him again.”
