Maton won a silver medal in the Masters 2 84kg class and started off brilliantly with an equal personal-best squat of 180kg, followed by a bench press of 112.5kg.

The lifter ended up with a 180kg deadlift after attempting to lift 187.5kg, which would have won her gold, and had to settle for 472.5kg.
