Masters swimmer Morris Dick recorded a hat-trick of gold medals at the Welsh Masters Championships held in Swansea.

The 72-year-old, competing in the 70- plus category, recorded a personal best of 44.82 seconds to win the 50m breaststroke.

The Brighton Hill swimmer returned to the pool in the afternoon session and collected his second victory, in the 100m breaststroke, in a time of 1min 40.04sec.

He completed his hat-trick of gold medals in the final event of the day, the 4x50m medley relay.

Dick swam the second leg for the Spencer team in the 280 plus-years team category and they only just missed out on a British record for a mixed team.
