ANDREW Butler netted a hat-trick as Basingstoke Sports and Social beat Dayer’s Fine Foods 6-1 in the final Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One game of the season.
Sports and Social will be sad to see the season come to a close, having gone five games undefeated at the end of the campaign. In addition to Butler’s hat-trick, Freddie Cloke scored twice, while Alex Izzo also found the net. Christian Cox was the Dayer’s scorer.
North Warnborough II secured second place in Division Three with a 3-0 victory over FC Everest last Thursday. The defeat ended a 15-game unbeaten run for champions Everest.
Republic of Chineham lifted the North Hants Senior Cup with a 2-0 victory over Barton Stacey in the final.
