BASINGSTOKE golfer Stuart Archibald finished in a tie for 20th in the opening EuroPro Tour event of the season at The Belfry.
The 29-year-old was never in contention to win The Matchroom Championship after an opening round of 75 (+3), but a second round of 72 (par) saw him survive the cut and he shot 74 (+2) on the final day to earn a top-20 finish.
Archibald travelled to Morocco to play in the Royal Golf D’Arfa Open on the MENA Tour last month, finishing in a tie for 19th on level par.
Professional golfers from across the south of England will travel to Dummer Golf Club next week to play in a Jamega Tour event at the club.
The tournament will take place on Monday and Tuesday, and spectators are welcome to go and watch the action free of charge.
