HARTLEY Wintney were once again unable to hold on to a lead on Saturday, losing 3-1 away at Badshot Lea in the Combined Counties League Premier Division.

Sam Argent had the visitors a goal up, but for the third time in four games, their opponents came from behind to win.

The result leaves Hartley seventh in the table ahead of a home game against Farnham Town tomorrow night.

Whitchurch United's bad run in the Wessex League Premier Division continues, the Jam Boys suffering two home defeats in the space of three days.

Moneyfields won 1-0 at Longmeadow on Thursday night, while Portchester left north Hampshire with the same result on Saturday.

The defeats mean Whitchurch have lost their last five games, while they have won just one of their last 12, a run that has seen them slip to 11th in the table.

Jim Macey's men will be looking to turn things around tomorrow night, when they travel to mid-table Brockenhurst.

Wessex League Division One side Tadley Calleva are enjoying a better run and they are up to fifth in the table after taking four points from two games over the past few days.

A Brett Denham hat-trick and further goals from James Tennant and Tol Sotonye saw them win 5-1 away at Amesbury on Wednesday night, while they drew 1-1 with visiting East Cowes Victoria on Saturday.

Tomorrow is a big day for Danny Dolan's men, as they host Combined Counties Premier outfit Alton Town in the semi-finals of the Basingstoke Senior Cup .
