ALDERMASTON RFC finished their Berks, Bucks and Oxon Championship campaign on a high, winning their final game 12-5 away at Didcot.

Didcot opened the scoring with an unconverted try after some poor defending but the visitors rallied and scored a try of their own through scrum-half Elliot Lowe, with Ian Martin's conversion putting them 7-5 ahead at half-time.

Aldermaston dominated the second half but Didcot defended well and it took the visitors a while to extend their lead, Martin diving over from close range to secure the win.

The result leaves Aldermaston third in the table but they could be overtaken by Risborough if they are able to secure maximum points from their final game this weekend.

Bottom side Kingsclere RFC were unable to raise a team for their trip to Crowthorne and their dismal campaign will come to an end at home to Didcot on Saturday.

Tadley Tigers' lap of honour continued with a 69-18 victory at Aylesbury Athletic. The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Champions bring their season to a close with a home game against bottom side Littlemore on Saturday.

However, they were unable to make it a double, going down 15-13 to Reading Abbey in the Berkshire Plate final last Thursday.

Overton RFC went down 30-12 away at Isle of Wight in Hampshire One. They will be relegated after just one season at the higher level, with their final game a local derby against top side Andover on Saturday.

Chineham completed their Hampshire Two campaign with a 97-0 win at Stoneham. Kris Ford crossed the line four times, while Lewis Cavanagh, Chris Ford, Keegan Wicks and Will Ogden all touched down twice and Connor Ford and Sam Smith also scored.

Chineham sit fifth in the table but could end up sixth after this weekend's games.
