In the Basingstoke and District Saturday League Division Two a 3-3 draw for third placed Bounty United was not really good enough against AFC Aldermaston A.

The draw leaves their chances of catching the two leading contenders Hampshire Irons and DJS Telecoms very difficult. Aldermaston opened the scoring from Kyle Torrill, before Matt Love replied.

Torrill scored again and then Paul Mellor made it 3-1 to Aldermaston 3-1 by the break.

Bounty scored twice in the last 10 minutes from Jordon Willis and Paul Clarke.

They should have scored a winner, just before time but Love hit the post and Willis was unable to put away the rebound.

Twenty-Ten enjoyed a 4-1 win against Labour Club, but only led by a single goal at half-time after Joe Hill scored.

Labour’s Mason Lewis equalised just a minute after the break, but Hill went on to complete his hat-trick and Joe Osborne netted their fourth.

Bengal Brasserie returned to winning ways against Basingstoke Athletic with a 5-3 victory.

Kyle Buckland scored four times for Bengal and Josh Taylor netted the other.

Basingstoke Athletic’s three goals came from Nathan Read with two and Lee O’Grady netted the other.

A straight hat-trick from Kieran Allayne saw AFC Berg 3-0 after 25 minutes. However, Overton United B took a point from the game thanks to goals from Darren White, Neil Hargreaves and Dave Trendall.
