READING remains in the Championship play-off places, despite only picking up a point against visiting Huddersfield in Saturday’s 1-1 draw.
The Yorkshire visitors opened the scoring in the fourth minute, as Nahki Wells latched onto a long ball from Tommy Smith.
The Royals were level five minutes later from the penalty spot thanks to Pavel Pogrebnyak. This was after Jobi McAnuff has been pulled back in the area by Oliver Norwood.
Huddersfield's Wells came closest to scoring the winner when his shot hit the post.
After the game Reading manager Nigel Adkins said: "We are still in the play-offs which is where we want to be, We picked up a point today and we are grinding out results at the moment."
Next for Reading is a trip to relegation threatened Charlton Athletic on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
