5:28pm

Right, that's me done for today. There's a chance that Town could host Concord Ranges on Tuesday, if that's what the league decree should happen.

If not, I'll be back again on Thursday, when Town travel to Hayes and Yeading United.

5:26pm

Today's win lifted Town up two places to 12th. Dorchester are now four points adrift at the foot of the table.

5:10pm

Elsewhere, Basingstoke RFC's relegation worries increased with a 41-24 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Barnes.

Southampton beat Newcastle 4-0, Reading drew 1-1 wi Huddersfield and London Irish lost 23-9 at Harlequins.

5:06pm

A dramatic late winner to send the locals home happy. Not a great game but a fantastic debut for Liam Enver-Marum, who was named man of the match.

Reaction to follow.

5:00pm

Basingstoke Town 2-1 Dorchester Town

4:56pm

90+3 - Basingstoke Town 2-1 Dorchester Town - Liam Enver-Marum

Surely that's the winner and a dramatic finale to the game.

LIAM ENVER-MARUM has made himself an instant favourite here. He picked up the ball on the left, took it past a defender with a clever touch, progressed into the area and fired home despite Walker-Harris getting a hand to the ball.

4:55pm

90+2 - Jenkinson shoots from the edge of the area. It takes a deflection and Dorchester goalkeeper Walker-Harris is beaten, but it bobbles wide.

4:54pm

There will be at least four minutes of added time for either side to claim all three points.

4:52pm

88 - Daly breaks into the box and fires in a powerful shot that Jake McCarthy blocks bravely. Took the full force of that in the lower back.

4:51pm

85 - More good play from Enver-Marum down the left but his cross goes out for a goal-kick before it reaches McAuley, whose header hits the crossbar.

4:49pm

84 - A dangerous moment for the hosts as Robbie Rice heads towards his own goal. Fortunately, it's straight at Wells.

4:47pm

82 - McAuley has a shot blocked and Daly fires wide from distance as Town look for a second goal.

4:47pm

81 - McAuley's shot from distance cannot be held by Walker-Harris and Enver-Marum is onto the rebound.

Surely he was pulled back as he lifted the ball over, but referee Adrian Quelch waves play on.

That's the same referee who denied Ibe a clear-cut spot-kick at Dover a couple of weeks ago.

4:42pm

78 - Basingstoke Town 1-1 Dorchester Town - Charlie Lossaso

That's a great strike. The Town defence gave CHARLIE LOSSASO too much time on the edge of the area but it's a great hit into the top corner, giving Wells no chance.

4:41pm

77 - Jermyn lets fly from distance, but it's straight at Wells in the Town goal.

4:40pm

76 - Enver-Marum gets up to meet a cross at the near post but is unable to direct his effort on target.

4:38pm

75 - Dorchester Town - Jack Twyford on for Ryan Case.

Case's afternoon ends early as he is the third and final Dorchester player to be substituted.

4:35pm

Not much happening at the moment. Neither side is able to build anything in the way of attacks. Not a great game for the neutral.

4:32pm

69 - Jenkinson's driven cross hits Jake Smeeton. That could have gone anywhere, but fortunately for the visitors it flies well wide.

4:31pm

67 - Mark Jermyn - Dorchester Town

Jermyn catches Daly late and becomes the second player to pick up a yellow card.

4:30pm

65 - Chamberlain lets fly from the edge of the Town area. His shot takes a deflection and a strange bounce, meaning Wells has to paw it behind for a corner, but nothing comes of it.

4:28pm

63 - Smart gets up to meet a free-kick but can only head wide.

4:27pm

62 - Basingstoke Town - Andrew Jenkinson on for Nicholas Bignall.

Looks like McAuley will be pushed forward to support Enver-Marum.

4:26pm

61 - Dorchester Town - Dan Way and Dan Munday on for Sam Lanahan and Clive Makoni.

4:24pm

61 - Clive Makoni - Dorchester Town

The visiting forward catches Daly late and goes into the referee's notebook.

4:21pm

Dorchester are enjoying a bit more of the play now. They don't look particularly threatening though.

4:17pm

53 - More great play from Enver-Marum, who is making a great impression on his debut.

He wins the ball 25 yards from goal, skips around a couple of challenges but can only curl his shot wide of the far post.

4:15pm

52 - Chamberlain is played in behind but the flag is up. Must have been tight.

4:13pm

49 - Jermyn is back on. Town have made a positive start to the second half, upping the tempo with and without the ball.

4:11pm

48 - Another break in play. Mark Jermyn is down in some pain following a heavy challenge from Daly. Not a foul, but he did catch the Dorchester skipper.

4:08pm

Town get the second half under way. No half-time changes for either side.

4:07pm

At Down Grange, Basingstoke now trail 29-14. Not good. Remember you can follow live coverage from there and St Mary's elsewhere on the website.

4:06pm

The players make their way out for the second half.

3:58pm

Elsewhere, Basingstoke RFC trail Barnes 17-14 at half-time in their crucial clash at Down Grange.

Reading are drawing 1-1 with visiting Huddersfield, while Southampton lead Newcastle 1-0. London Irish trail 10-9 at Harlequins.

3:55pm

A solid, if unspectacular half for Town. They are comfortably better than a poor Dorchester side but only have one goal to show for their superiority.

Liam Enver-Marum has been impressive though. He's linking up well with Bignall and it could be an exciting partnership.

3:51pm

Basingstoke Town 1-0 Dorchester Town

3:50pm

45+2 - Enver-Marum flicks the ball on and Smart is in down the right. He only has Bignall in the middle but almost finds the far corner with his attempted cross.

3:49pm

45 - Soares lets fly with a volley from the edge of the area and it takes a good save from Walker-Harris to deny him.

There will be two minutes of added time at the end of the half.

3:47pm

44 - Almost a second for Enver-Marum. Bignall does well to release Smart and his low centre finds Enver-Marum, but the striker is stretching, allowing Walker-Harris to get down and make the block.

3:45pm

41 - We have a break in play. Looks like Dorchester's Jake McCarthy has taken a blow to a sensitive area. No, actually, it's his arm he walks off holding.

3:42pm

39 - Soares lets fly from distance but that is a long way over the crossbar.

3:39pm

36 - There's a bit of space between the Town defence and midfield that Dorchester are looking to exploit, but Ray makes a good block to prevent Chamberlain getting a shot on target.

3:38pm

Enver-Marum's goal stopped the clock on Town's goal drought at 372 minutes.

3:37pm

32 - McAuley's shot from the edge of the area is well blocked.

3:33pm

30 - Basingstoke Town 1-0 Dorchester Town - Liam Enver-Marum

The two new strikers have gelled pretty well and they combine to open the scoring.

Bignall nods the ball down for LIAM ENVER-MARUM, who volleys past Walker-Harris from about 10 yards out to open the scoring. A clinical finish, something Town have been missing.

3:32pm

29 - A nice move down the left leads to a shooting chance for Smart, but Walker-Harris makes the save. Hang on though.

3:30pm

27 - A poor kick from the goalkeeper gives Bignall the ball 30 yards out. He makes ground before putting in a low shot that Walker-Harris keeps out comfortably, diving low to his left.

3:27pm

Dorchester are trying to play, but I'm not sure they have the players to do it.

3:25pm

22 - Visiting goalkeeper Alan Walker-Harris spills McAuley's cross but there is no Town player on hand to take advantage.

3:23pm

20 - Town have Dorchester on the rack.

Enver-Marum seemed to be fouled in the area but play went on. He did well to win the loose ball, with McAuley's cross punched away and Adam Green firing a shot from distance over the crossbar.

3:21pm

18 - Good play from Enver-Marum down the right and his cross is taken off the head of Bignall by a Dorchester defender.

3:20pm

16 - Great save from Town's Wells to keep out Charlie Lossaso's header. The striker met a cross from the right and the home goalkeeper was at full stretch to keep him out.

The rebound dropped to Elliott Chamberlain, but the angle was tight and Wells recovered to smother his shot.

3:18pm

15 - Nothing comes of it and Dorchester look to break, but that's a good challenge from David Ray. Must be player of the year.

3:17pm

15 - Town are edging the game at the moment. Bignall looks lively and he wins a free-kick down the left.

3:15pm

13 - Bignall steals the ball from Lanahan in the Dorchester area but cannot find space to shoot or lay the ball off to a team-mate.

3:13pm

10 - Town's opening shot is taken by Louie Soares, but his effort from the edge of the area is well over the bar.

3:09pm

7 -Dorchester are playing a 3-4-3 system and they have the first shot of note, Sam Lanahan's effort from the edge of the area fizzing across goal and wide of the far post.

3:06pm

Town have lined up as expected, with Daly and McAuley in the centre of the park.

A break in play at the moment as Town goalkeeper Louis Wells replaces his boot.

3:04pm

1 - Enver-Marum makes a good run down the left, showing some pace, but his cross fails to find a team-mate.

3:02pm

Dorchester get the game under way. They will shoot into the sun behind the Clubhouse End in the first half.

3:00pm

The players make their way out for kick-off.

Considering today was a day when people could choose how mush they paid to watch, it's not a great crowd. Probably not going to top 500 people. Disappointing.

2:59pm

Elsewhere this afternoon, you can follow live coverage of Basingstoke RFC's crucial National League Three London game against Barnes elsewhere on the site.

You can also follow Southampton's game against Newcastle in the Premier League live on the site.

Reading are at home to Huddersfield Town in the Championship, while London Irish have made the short trip to Twickenham to take on Harlequins.

I'll let you know how all four are getting on at half-time and full-time.

2:51pm

2:50pm

Town go into today's game having failed to score in almost 350 minutes (342 to be exact). Can their new strike force do the job today?

It will be disappointing if they fail to score. Dorchester are bottom of the table and lost 6-0 to Eastleigh on Tuesday.

TEAM NEWS

Town make three changes three changes to the side that lost to Havant last weekend.

Two of them come in attack, with Nicholas Bignall and new signing Liam Enver-Marum coming in for Robbie Matthews and Jordace Holder-Spooner, who drop to the bench.

The only other change sees Nathan Smart come in for Andrew Jenkinson. He is likely to play on the right wing, with Shaun McAuley partnering Wes Daly in the centre of midfield.

Town remain without Kezie Ibe, Manny Williams and Simon Dunn through injury.

Dorchester feature a Basingstoke native in Ryan Case, a Bournemouth academy product who looks set to play at right-back.

2:31pm

Good afternoon and welcome to live text coverage of this afternoon's Conference South match between Basingstoke Town and Dorchester Town at the Camrose.
