BASINGSTOKE Town Ladies lost 3-1 at Parsley despite opening the scoring after five minutes when Carla Mitchell struck from 25 yards out.
The home equalised seven minutes later and then took the lead in the first minute after the break.
Town piled on the pressure as Kate Randell’s shot was pushed round the post by Parsley goalkeeper.
Mitchell nearly scored a second, but her shot was saved and then Parsley broke away and scored a third goal.
Last Thursday evening, the Ladies lost away to Gosport Borough Ladies 2-1 with Mitchell scoring their only goal.
Today, Town are away at Woodley United Ladies in the League Cup semi-final.
