BASINGSTOKE under-12 Bison remain unbeaten at home this season after a 3-3 draw with visiting Cardiff on Sunday night.
The home side opened the scoring from William Birch as he converted a pass from Emily Harris, but, two minutes into the second period, they trailed 2-1.
Travis Penny tied the game up again after good work from Oliver Waites and it remained this way until the second buzzer.
The Bison made it 3-2 as Harris scored shorthanded, assisted by Sophie Halstead, but Cardiff made sure honours were even by the end of the game as they netted a third goal.
Straight after this game, the Buffalo suffered a 5-2 loss to Cardiff as they never recovered from trailing 2-0 after the first 20 minutes.
Kurt Tyrell, assisted by man-of-the-match Danny Ingoldsby, and Matt Lawday opened the second session scoring, but Cardiff restored their two-goal advantage by the buzzer.
Ingoldsby finished a move that involved Tyrell and Francesco Tambellini to make it 3-2, but, 27 seconds later, Cardiff scored their fourth goal and added another before the end of the game.
The under-18 Bison also suffered defeat in Lee Valley, going down 5-3 after Elliott Dewey had put them ahead.
The sides then swapped shorthanded markers as Alex Sampford scored for the Herd, assisted by team-mate Hallam Wilson.
The home side then netted two goals in the space of 21 seconds to take a 3-2 lead and netted another before Max Florey scored their last of game finishing a move which involved Sampford and Nathan Moss.
