Saints fans are set for a feast of football tomorrow as they prepare to follow the fortunes of no fewer than 17 of their squad on international duty.

It is a blockbuster set of call-ups for Saints, headed by the four first teamers on England duty in the shape of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Jay Rodriguez and Luke Shaw.

The quartet will all be hoping for game time tomorrow night as England take on Denmark in Wembley in what is the final friendly before Roy Hodgson names his 23 man squad and seven standbys for Brazil just after the end of the Premier League season.

They are far from the only ones with plenty to play for though.

The day kicks off with Maya Yoshida hoping to impress against New Zealand in the Kirin Challenge Cup with Japan also finalising selection ahead of this summer’s World Cup.

The fixture is taking place at the National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo and, taking into account the time difference, kicks off at 10.40am.

Next in action at 4pm is Saints youngster Chris Johns who is away with the Northern Ireland under-21s for their home 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship Qualification Group 9 fixtures against Italy at Mourneview Park, Lurgan.

Things really start hotting up at 6pm as James Ward-Prowse, Lloyd Isgrove and Steven Davis all take part in games.

Ward-Prowse and Isgrove are hoping to go head-to-head and be included in the England and Wales under-21 sides respectively as the nations face off in a 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship Qualification Group 1 in Derby.

Meanwhile, Northern Ireland captain Davis is away for a friendly with Cyprus in Nicosia.

An hour later at 7pm there are four Saints – Calum Chambers, Harrison Reed, Matt Targett and Sam Gallagher – all hoping for game time for England under-19s as they take on Turkey at the Swansway Chester Stadium in Chester.

At the same time promising young keeper Cody Cropper is in the United States squad to face Ukraine in a friendly which is now being played in Cyrpus.

Two of the Saints big guns kick off at 7.30pm.

Saints’ most expensive ever defender, Dejan Lovren, is in Switzerland with Croatia hoping to sew up a World Cup spot with his nation for this summer, while there is a similar challenge for Gaston Ramirez, who is with Uruguay in Klagenfurt for a friendly with Austria.

At 7.45pm Artur Boruc hopes to be between the sticks as Poland host Scotland in a friendly at Warsaw before at 8pm the England lads get under way at Wembley to round off a stunning day of international action for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.

Nice to see CODY CROPPER get some international recognition.I think it is about time he got a chance with the SAINTS first team squad. He has got to be worth a place on the bench at the very least. The same goes for Matt Targett.
3 POINTS FOR THE SAINTS THIS WEEK AT PALACE.
