READING dropped out of the Championships play-off places, after they drew 1-1 with visiting Yeovil Town, who had three players sent-off on Saturday afternoon.
Yeovil opened the scoring after 20 minutes, as Shane Duffy headed into the net, after Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy missed Luke Ayling's cross.
Byron Webster was the first of the visitors to be sent off, after he pulled back Royston Drenthe for a penalty.
Adam Le Fondre's spot-kick was saved, but from the ensuing goalmouth scramble Tom Lawrence's attempted clearance went in off the back of his own goalkeeper.
Joe Ralls was the second visitors’ player to be sent-off on 70 minutes, after he felled Garath McCleary.
Kieffer Moore then picked up two bookings in the space of two minutes to reduce Yeovil to eight men.
Reading manager Nigel Adkins said: “We started the game very well, but yet again conceded a poor goal and gave our opponents something to cling on to.”
The Royals will look to return to winning when they travel to Brighton on Saturday.
