NORTH Warnborough Two recovered from conceding an early goal to progress through to the semi-finals of the North Hants John Ward Cup, with Ryan Thorpe hitting a hat-trick.

Host Collingbourne took the lead after just seven minutes but two from Thorpe had Warnborough ahead at half-time. Thorpe got his third after the break, while Dan Williamson netted from a free-kick to complete a 4-1 win.

Chineham Athletic also progressed in the competition, beating visiting AFC Stoneham 3-1. John Dawson bagged a brace, with Ollie Owen scoring Chineham's third goal.

Republic of Chineham beat hosts CI FC 3-0 in the North Hants Senior Cup, Ben Dillon scoring twice before an own-goal completed the win.

Basingstoke Sports and Social were knocked out of the Kelvin Cup by hosts Chute Athletic. Sports found themselves 2-0 down before half-time and while Paul Couchman pulled one back late on, they lost 2-1.

Lamb Inn emerged 2-1 winners over Skewers in the North Hants Chris Price Cup, while CJ Glass beat Eastrop Eagles 8-2 in their much-delayed Hampshire Sunday Junior A Cup tie.

SOUTH View moved to the top of Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division Two with a 6-3 win over visiting Hampshire Irons.

Michael Wood gave Irons the lead but South View levelled before the break and went 3-1 up in the second half. Ash Lacona pegged them back but South View scored two more to lead 5-2. Daniel Kilmartin reduced the deficit to two goals but the hosts had the final word, making it 6-3.

In a Division One game adversely affected by the wind, Sporting Silchester beat Dayer's Fine Food 1-0 thanks to Rob Kelly's strike 20 minutes from time.

FC Everest top Division Three after beating Team 5-0, while Sambuca beat visiting AFC Golden Lion. Matthew Foreman opened the scoring for Golden Lion in the second half but goals from Gavin Phillimore, Rob Langley and Robert Chandler secured a 3-1 win for Sambuca.
