Saints loanee Dani Osvaldo helps Juventus to victory

Basingstoke Gazette: Dani Osvaldo Dani Osvaldo

SAINTS loanee Dani Osvaldo was again used as a second half sub by Juventus today.

The Italian international was introduced as a 71st minute sub at the same time as Carlos Tevez was also brought on in the 3-1 win against Chievo.

Juve were 3-1 up at the time and the win enabled Antonio Conte’s side to move 12 points clear at the top of Serie A with their 70th league win in Conte’s 100th game in charge.

Kwadwo Asamoah, Claudio Marchisio and Fernando Llorente gave Juve victory.

The guy will start no more than 3 games for Juve (barring injuries or suspensions) because Llorente and Tevez will always be first choice - and guess what, Juve won't pick up the option to buy at the season's end.
May end up at Monaco for 8 million, meaning a huge loss on the deal - nightmare signing!
Really should have done more research into this guy's psyche (and ability) before signing him!

Can we stop giving this bloke publicity. He is nothing to do with Southampton anymore. He will do the same at juventus as he has done at every other club he has been at. He obviously is unable to get on with people and has anger issues. He is nothing but a thug. Lets move on and let history be history!!

we all should, the more and the better he plays the more chance of Juve completing the deal at the end of the season.

Saint in Malta, do you not think that having managed him before that MP might know quite a lot about him?

Saint Mick in Kingsland, hes everything to do with saints as hes still our player and if he doesn't do well he might be back!

Great goal against City. But it wasn't a £15m goal. Or however much it is. Will be glad when DE decides to stop printing articles about him. Especially when all he did was show up for a game. Let's move on. What is done is done.

We can only hope the management there are delighted with how his fitness is coming on, his work rate is improving all the time, his skills are dynamite, his professional approach is motivating the youngsters, it's only a matter of time before he scores a hat trick, he has the ability to become one of serie A top scorers, he can get more assists than anyone else in the team.

In short Dani and when we signed you I never dreamed I would feel this way, I pray you are offered a fantastic contract and you continue to be so successful there is no chance you will ever feature in a Saints shirt again. You are a ---------- disgrace to your profession! Good luck.
