BASINGSTOKE and Mid Hants athletes Andy Blow and Mark Berridge travelled to Sheffield to compete in the British Athletics Indoor Championships at the weekend.
Berridge finished second in his heat of the 800m but his time of 1min 52.06sec was not quick enough to see him through to the final.
It was a similar story for 60m hurdler Blow. He clocked 8.16sec to finish sixth in his heat and also failed to reach the final.
Hook distance runner Charlotte Purdue was the first female runner home at the Chichester Priory 10km, completing the course in 33min 37sec.
