DANI Osvaldo had a goal disallowed and also hit a post on his Juventus debut this afternoon.

The Saints loanee striker was introduced as a second half sub for Fernando Llorente in a 2-2 draw at Hellas Verona.

With Juve leading 2-1, Osvaldo was unlucky not to score in the 69th minute, latching onto a pass from Andrea Pirlo and crashing a shot against a post.

The Italian then had a goal disallowed for offside.

Carlos Tevez had put the Serie A leaders 2-0 up inside the first half hour.

Hellas striker Luca Toni reduced the arrears early in the second half. And just when Juve looked to be heading for their 20th win of the campaign, sub Juan Gomez Taleb headed Romulo's cross in for a draw.

The outcome in Verona has left Juve nine points clear of second-place Roma, who were held to a goalless result at Lazio.

Roma have a game in hand.
