Doug Sheppard is back for the start of the third period with the Bison needing to kill off an early powerplay.

Somehow, the Bison are level after dominating for most of the 20 minutes.
The Bison pick up another penalty after Baird goes for a rebound and this gives the Wildcats a 4-on-3 powerplay at the start of the final period.
Bison pressure the net, but are unable to find a way through and the penalty is killed as Wales departs for tripping.
Hoog is dismissed as he sends Sheppard into the boards and he is helped off to the dressing room. Hoog receives match for checking from behind and the Herd have a five minute powerplay.
