REACTION: Basingstoke Bison player/coach Doug Sheppard said: "It was a disappointing performance and Milton Keynes played well. We gave away too many odd man rushes tonight and we have to do better in Sheffield tomorrow.

MK deserve their lead as they have had the more clear cut chances. icing eight forwards is helping them as imports Lascek and Emersic are icing on their third line and giving it an offensive punch.
Sheppard with a nice back hand shot is denied by the pad of Wall. then the net comes off again.
Carlon for MK and then Karpov have chances.

Before the start of the game there is a presentation to Michael Wales to mark his 500th English Premier League game tonight. It is fitting it is against MK who he played the bulk of his EPL games for. He gets a great reception from both sets of fans.
Team news Bison are minus British forward Andy Melachrino so the young Brits will take his place. MK are minus British forward Ross Bowers so are reduced to just eight forwards.
The Bison will look to carry on from Wednesday night's superb 8-3 win over Guildford, but MK will be a hard nut to crack and would not be surprised if this goes to a shoot-out tonight.
