Saints are determined to hold on to midfielder Jack Cork in the face of interest from Swansea.
There are widespread reports that Saints have turned down a bid of around £3m from the Welsh side for Cork.
Cork has often had to play second fiddle to £12m man Victor Wanyama this season but has reestablished himself in the team of late.
Mauricio Pochettino was asked if Saints had received a bid for Cork and said: "Yes but Jack Cork is a very important player for us and there is no possibility he is going to leave this club."
