ADAM Le Fondre made it six goals in his last two appearances at the Madejski Stadium as his scored another hat-trick.
His previous trio had been against Bolton, but this time it was Blackpool who were put to the sword as the Royals won 5-1 on Tuesday night.
It took Le Fondre just seven minutes to open his account with a volley.
The striker netted his second 10 minutes later, as Alex Pearce headed Jobi McAnuff’s ball across to him.
After the break, Le Fondre turned provider for Pavel Pogrebnyak to score on 52 minutes.
Steve Davies powerful drive opened Blackpool’s account just after the hour.
However, the comeback finished there as Le Fondre completed his hat-trick just after the hour and sub Hal Robson-Kanu wrapped up the win.
Royals manager Nigel Adkins said: “Adam’s three goals were excellent in what was a great team performance.”
Reading sit sixth in the Championship table ahead of a trip to Millwall on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
