REPUBLIC of Chineham recorded their third consecutive victory in Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One with a 2-1 win away at Kaiser Wessex.
There was also a victory for Hampshire Irons, who beat AFC Hook 3-1. Michael Pemberton scored twice and Rob Mead got the third Irons goal, while Bax Bailey netted for Hook.
Skewers came back from 2-0 down to beat RAF Odiham Blades 3-2. Brett Denham’s pair had Skewers level and Matt Osborne got what proved to be the winner.
UWS remain top of Division Three after beating bottom side AFC Golden Lion 4-0 thanks to goals from Lee Head, Andrew Davidson, Stuart Jarvis and Mark Rowe.
FC Everest racked up their sixth straight win with a 4-1 victory over visiting Railway Club, while Team suffered their first home defeat of the season, going down 2-0 to in-form Chineham Athletic. Both goals were scored by Ollie Owen, with one coming from the penalty spot.
