HAVING not lost two games back-to-back all season, we now find ourselves having lost three on the trot after losing at home to Telford and away in Manchester.

I felt a few bounces went against us on Saturday against Telford, when earlier in the season this was not happening.

In Manchester, Dean Skinns kept us in with a chance of winning the game, but we were unable to recover from a collapse in the second period.

It is an obviously a tough place to go to, but we still have one more chance in their building this season.

We have to snap out of our losing streak as quickly as possible and we have a group of guys who show character and are a resilient bunch.

We are not about to panic, as when you look at the bigger picture there is plenty of hockey still to be played this season.

We are still in a good spot at the moment, which is third, just a point behind new leaders Guildford.

I think it is good timing we have just the one game this weekend, with the visit of the Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday.

We can really focus on this game and as a team we are determined to bounce back to winning ways.

Every team in our league is battling for something. At the top it is for the title and the rest are in the hunt for a play-off place.

Each game is like play-off hockey as there is so much at stake and looking at the results last weekend, anything can happen.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday and you can be sure we will be going all out to win the game.

All the best,

Doug
