HARTLEY Wintney were unable to claim three points from their trip to struggling Horley in the Combined Counties League Premier Division on Saturday, the game ending 1-1.
The visitors looked on course for victory when they took the took an early lead, Sam Argent scoring from Shane Hollamby's pass.
However, lowly Horley levelled before half-time and there was no further scoring in the second half, despite the hosts being reduced to 10 men in the closing stages.
Hartley sit 15th in the table and while they have games in hand over many of the sides above them, the village outfit's chances of a high finish are fading fast.
Ben Dillon's men are in action again tomorrow night, travelling to Hanworth Villa for a league match.
