Plenty of action and Bison will now have to re-group as they are are now without two of their top four defencemen. Sheffield must be favourites now, but the Herd are only one down so don't write them off.

Vantroba breaks his stick with blue line shot and allows Korhon to break away. Vantroba without a stick slide tackles Korhon and ref Cloutman calls him for tripping which is a bad call. The defenceman is furious and Cloutman can now speak Slovak and dismisses him. The home fans show their displeasure with a chorus of boos. Could well be the worst call of the season in Basingstoke so far.
