Loddon Vale ladies continue to dominate bowls league
THE Loddon Vale ladies continued to dominate the Riversmeet League after a convincing 107-72 win over Bannister Park, writes Norman Figg.
The winning rinks were skipped by Claire Flannigan (26-17), Karen Winter (25-14) and Sheila Stone (26-14). The only losing rink was Tina Rogers (27-17).
Unfortunately, the men had to play Eastbourne in the Denny Plate and lost.
Last Sunday’s friendly against Camberley was won by the Vale 147-99.
The winning rinks were Jeff White (31-14), Steve Foyle (26-13), Ian Laming (33-20), John Hilton (24-16) and Frank Fuller (18-17). The only losing rink was Peter Grant (19-15).
