BASINGSTOKE Gymnastic Club’s aerobic gymnastic squad returned a massive haul of medals from the Aerobic British Champion-ships.
The two-day competition saw national and international level gymnasts competing and the Basingstoke gymnasts returned with two gold medals, six silver medals and one bronze medal.
Freya Baldwin took the gold medal in joint first position in the 10-11 years international category, along with Emily James from Martine’s Action Pack.
Zanna Woods received her gold medal along with her team-mates in their group routine in the senior category, crowning them British champions and putting them in a position to represent Great Britain at the European Championships next November.
Basingstoke had a team of 19 gymnasts competing in this competition, with the majority finishing in the top 12 of their categories.
