BISHOP Challoner table tennis players were crowned Hampshire champions in a tournament held at Totton.
This triumph followed on from them winning the Basingstoke Schools tournament.
They will now travel to London in January to represent Hampshire for a shot at the national title.
The winning Bishop Challoner team comprised Eve Messenger, Chloe Keith, Jarnai McKellop and Emily Boorman.
To reach the national finals, Bishop Challoner beat St George’s Catholic College from Southampton and Portsmouth Grammar School on their way to the county title.
The team is coached by Chris Sheers, head of PE at Bishop Challoner, who said: “I am very proud of their achievement. They have worked very hard and have come a long way in a short period of time.”
