OVERTON and Basingstoke Taekwondo (OBT) travelled to Falkirk to compete in the Scottish Open Poomsae Championships.
The team of Gerry Reilly, Coleen Reilly, Sian Reilly, Amy Stock and Neo Botha performed well in a competition which had a very high standard, attracting top competitors from across Britain and Europe.
The female team of Coleen Reilly, Amy Stock and Sian Reilly won a bronze medal in the synchronised event, with the marks they achieved here being very good especially given that the team have only been working together for a short while.
This tournament was part of the long-term development of the standard of competition poomsae in the club, which will include further seminars and tournaments over the forthcoming year.
The team were delighted following their achievements at this event to be invited to attend the British Taekwondo National Squad training session in December.
