BASINGSTOKE Town Ladies moved up to fourth in the Southern League Premier Division with a 3-1 victory over hosts Bracknell Town on Sunday.

The home side took the lead after just two minutes but Basingstoke soon pulled level, Josette Pearmine providing the pass for Lianne Hill to fire home.

They went ahead on 21 minutes through Carla Mitchell, while Katie Randell and Tracy Jones both went close before half-time.

Pearmine went close to extending the lead before Randell made it 3-1 on 66 minutes and Town played out the remaining time for a comfortable win.

The reserves won 10-0 away at Liphook Ladies. Justine Mosley and Katie Saunders both hit hat-tricks, while Michelle Shone netted twice and Lindsey Wilson and Samantha Mosley got one apiece.

The first team travel to Winchester City Flyers in the North Hants Cup on Sunday, with the two teams’ reserve sides also meeting in War Memorial Park.
