CI FC recovered from a goal down to beat Barton Stacey 5-1 and progress in the Andover Presidents Cup on Sunday.

The hosts took an early lead but John Richards had CI level at half-time and completed his hat-trick after the break, with Keith Davies and Bruce Davis also finding the net.

North Warnborough did not fare so well in the Basingstoke Kelvin Cup, losing 4-0 at home to Tron, who scored twice in each half. David Parry netted twice, with Scott Winterbourne and Samie Aldoori the other Tron scorers.

Basingstoke Sports and Social claimed a good 3-1 victory over visiting Basingstoke Saints in Basingstoke and District Sunday League Division One.

Saints took an early lead through Rick Pike, only for Daniel Grimes to level almost immediately, making the half-time score 1-1. Freddie Cloke converted a penalty to turn the game on its head and Paul Couchman tied things up for Sports and Social on the hour.

Bottom side Kaiser Wessex were thumped 6-0 for the third time in four games, Republic of Chineham the team filling their boots against the strugglers this week.

Chineham beat Division One strugglers Eastrop Eagles to extend their winning run to three games - but it was far from plain sailing for the visitors.

Eastrop were more than holding their own when Ryan Tucker put through his own net to give Chineham the lead and the strugglers were level at half-time, James O'Grady getting the equaliser.

However, Chineham were not to be denied and snatched all three points midway through the second half, Jack Burrows getting the winning goal.

Skewers and South View drew 1-1, with Tom Mole heading in Skewers' goal from a corner.

Division Three leaders UWS maintained their unbeaten record and extended their winning run to six games with a 4-3 victory away at AFC Golden Lion.

Matt Evans, David Dixon, Steve Sinclair and Nathan Hollis all scored for UWS, while Harry Roberts, Adam Robinson and Matt Foreman were on target for struggling Golden Lion.

FC Everest maintained the pressure on UWS with a 6-1 victory over Sambuca. Tom Green got Sambuca's consolation, with Gavin Philips taking credit for the assist.

Paul Fox, Mark Fox, Steve Owen and Paul Jones all found the net as Chineham Athletic won 4-0 away at Whitchurch Kings. They remain the only side to have taken a point off leaders UWS and have won four out of five away from home.
