Basingstoke Bison team up with J Davy Vauxhall
J DAVY Vauxhall are the new driving force behind the Basingstoke Bison, after the Herd took delivery of two cars superbly decked out with Bison logos.
This is the first time the car dealership, based at West Ham roundabout, has joined up with their neighbours on the Leisure Park.
Terry Colwell, J Davy’s business manager, is delighted with the link-up and said: “Ice hockey is a big sport in the town and it is a great way for us to promote our business.
“The cars look very good and I am sure everyone will notice them driving around the town.
“We look forward to fruitful partnership with the Bison.”
“We get some free tickets from the deal and I know a number of lads have enjoyed going to the games. I hope to visit later in the season.”
He added: “I am also grateful to the Bison because they have donated me a VIP box at one of their games for my ill son TJ’s fundraising auction.”
The auction is being held at the Oakridge Hall for All on November 1 to raise money to take TJ to Disneyland.
Herd player/coach Doug Sheppard said: “Every sponsor is important to the Bison and I think the cars look really smart.
“It is just perfect that they are also one of our near neighbours and I look forward to working with them this year, and in the future.”
