Attrill went on to complete a first period hat-trick and Collingwood netted the last goal before the buzzer as the Bison Ladies led 5-0.
Collingwood netted the first after the break, before the Penguins opened their account.
Jodie Milson was next to get on the scoresheet, assisted by Tanya Bone and Jade Reyland.
Collingwood then hit a straight hat-trick in the space of two minutes, with Kim Carrington-Fisher getting a helper on the first of the trio.
Attrill then netted the final goal of the second session to give the home side an 11-1 lead.
It was Peterborough who opened the final period scoring, before Attrill and Collingwood added to their tally.
Milson then netted her second of the game, finishing a move involving Bone and Carrington-Fisher.
