Former England bowler Dean Headley visits Lord Wandsworth College
FORMER England cricketer Dean Headley paid a visit to Lord Wandsworth College as part of the Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy.
The academy ran for five days and is part of a nationwide programme run by Activate Sport and sponsored by the Co-operative.
In Flintoff’s absence, Headley stepped in to lend a helping hand to coach the youngsters.
The Andrew Flintoff Cricket Academy promises to give every participant between five to 12 years a truly memorable experience, with every course visited by the legendary Freddie or another former or current international player.
Activate Sport managing director Toby Mitchell said: “Our dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated team are continually enhancing our courses and content to ensure that all children enjoy the best possible Activate Sport camp experience, regardless of age or ability level.”
