Rickie Lambert is toasting a double celebration - the striker has been named in the England squad to face Scotland next week and his partner gave brith to a dughter this morning.
The 31-year-old, now a father to Bella Rose, has finally won a call-up from Roy Hodgson for the game at Wembley next Wednesday night.

It tops a fairytale rise for Lambert from lower league journeyman who worked in a factory after being released from Blackpool before climbing through the ranks, joining Saints and firing the goals to take them to the top flight.
England boss Roy Hodgson said he onsidered signing Lamberet when he was manager of Fulham after watching him play against the west London team for Bristol Rovers.

"He is a man who has worked hard to prove himself over all these years and deserves his call up at a time when a couple of players like Daniel Sturridge and Andy Carroll, who might have got the nod ahead of him, are unavailable."
In his four seasons with Saints the striker has bagged a remarkable 103 goals.
