BASINGSTOKE Town manager Jason Bristow has agreed a deal to keep striker Manny Williams at the Camrose - but Tim Sills looks set to leave the club.
Williams, who scored 12 goals in 23 appearances in the second half of last season, has agreed terms on a new deal at the club and is expected to sign in the coming weeks.
“Manny was fantastic when he came in,” Bristow said. “We brought him in because we were creating chances but not scoring, seeing him as an instinctive goalscorer, but he showed that he is a lot more than that.”
Bristow remains in contact with Sills but says it is now “unlikely” that the striker will sign on for another season due to his commitments as a teacher in Hertfordshire.
The Town boss has also revealed that he is looking to make at least four new signings, including a goalkeeper and two strikers, over the coming weeks.
