TADLEY Calleva suffered a 2-1 defeat at Laverstock and Ford last week and boss Danny Dolan is looking for his side to bounce back in their final game of the season at Amesbury on Saturday.

Dolan said: “We did not play well at Laverstock and we might need results to go for us if we are to finish seventh.”

The home side took the lead, but the visitors were level when James Milford found Danny Vickers to stroke the ball home.

After the break, Laverstock scored from the penalty spot, which was bit harsh on Lee Wood as the tackle looked to be outside the box.

Tadley went close from Brett Denham and also had two penalties turned down on a frustrating afternoon.

Henry Johnson played the full 90 minutes with a head injury, while Scott Kinge went the distance despite suffering a fractured collarbone.
