Tadley boxer continues fine form

TADLEY boxing club's Tommy 'Gun' Owen continued his impressive record with a shock points victory over Ben Benham in his own backyard.
Blandford ABC's Benham had lost just once coming into the bout, but Owen more than matched his opponent in the first round, with both men scoring points with well schooled shots.
Owen, weighing in at 48kg, then turned on the style to take the second round, with some impressive combinations that worked the head and body of Benham.
He continued that form into the third round to earn a majority points win that takes his tally to nine victories in 12 bouts.
