MFC POPLEY moved top of the Basingstoke and District League Division One table with a win over bottom side Chineham Albion.
Albion held out until Nick Cox scored in the 47th minute but lost goalkeeper John Cleary to injury and Cox lobbed replacement Mark Smith from 20 yards.
Albion came back when Leon Dolton put away a cross from Nick Saunders, but Cox completed his hat-trick and Steve Austen put his side 4-1 up with 20 minutes to go.
Albion grabbed two goals in the final 10 minutes through Tim Wright and Nick Saunders, but were unable to get the equaliser.
Also in Division One, Herriard beat Bounty United 5-1, while Skewers, Pure Spartan, Bengal Brasserie and Sherborne St John all won in Division Two, with Basingstoke Athletic and AFC Berg drawing 2-2.
