BASINGSTOKE RFC director of rugby James Croker was a happy man after seeing his side romp to a comfortable 66-21 victory over Cobham.

'Stoke ran in 10 tries, with Jamie Fish, Gareth Kelly and Andy Hore all crossing the line twice. Jamie Folan, Freddie Gleadowe, Matt Guilfoyle and Ashley Paterson were the other scorers.

Croker said: “That was a great win and to score 10 tries is always pleasing. The lads did very well today and they should be proud of their performance.

“However, looking to our future games, if we are to improve we need to be more accurate with the ball and to improve our ball management and ball retention.

"These will be the areas we focus on in training over the next few weeks as we approach the final stages of the season.”
