'Stoke brush aside Cobham to keep pressure on promotion rivals

BASINGSTOKE RFC claimed an emphatic 66-21 victory over visiting Cobham to remain just two points behind second-placed Chichester in the London One South table.

Andy Hore, Jamie Fish, Gareth Kelly and Ashley Paterson all scored twice, while there were further tries for Jamie Folan, Matt Guilfoyle and Freddie Gleadowe.

Chichester also secured maximum points against struggling Old Colfeians - but only just, winning 24-5 to maintain their two point lead in the battle for second place and the play-off berth.
