Onslow claims first time-trial of the season

NICK Onslow claimed victory in North Hampshire Road Club’s first time-trial event of the season.
Snow flurries made for difficult conditions as the riders tackled two laps of a course based a Mortimer to complete a 10.9 mile race – and it was Onslow who handled them best, clocking 27min 16sec to beat second-placed Robert Watson by 34 seconds.
Tony Parker was a further eight seconds back in third place, while Mandy Hibberd was the fastest lady in 30:36.
